What HE says

Matthew 24:35

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.

What HE says is what is most important. HIS WORDS are what counts. The opinion and statement of others has little bearing, but what HE says matters. What HE says is TRUTH. What HE says has TRUE POWER. What HE says has made and continues to make the difference in my life and it can in yours. So, what does HE say? You only need to open the Bible to find out. What is HE saying to your heart? Is HE saying to you what HE said to me 20 years ago, “Even the devil and demons believe and know who I am. You need to be saved.” That is what HE said to me the night I got saved. I had a head knowledge of HIM. I believed every word in the Bible, but yet I was lost. I needed to be forgiven. HE had to tell me that I was lost and needed to be saved. HE had to tell me the truth. Sin requires death and HE died to be that sacrifice for my sin and for yours. I asked HIM to forgive me and save me that night and HE did. What HE said made the difference. I recently read Isaiah 43. The very first verse reminded me of what took place 20 years ago. It says, “ But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name, thou art mine.” I know this verse is referring to Israel, but it applies to me also. HE spoke to me through Mark 5:6-8 “But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, and cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? That thou torment me not. For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit." The night I got saved, I realize that just because I knew a lot about JESUS didn’t mean that I had a relationship with HIM. I wanted to really know HIM personally. I couldn’t get to HIM, but HE came to me and spoke to me and saved my wretched soul and now I am HIS. What HE says has POWER to save, to forgive, to heal, to protect, the options are endless. HE wants to do that for you. HE has something specific and personal to say to you. You need to listen to HIS WORDS and respond to HIS CALL. The text in Matthew 24:35 is a wonderful verse to lead into a study on the Beatitudes in Matthew 5. I want to let what HE says about any topic be what leads me. The words written in RED have the POWER to change your life and they continue to change mine. What HE says is TRUTH. HE is TRUTH. John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
